Your English-speaking driver, at disposal for the excursion’s duration, meets you at the Port of Lisbon arrivals terminal. You’ll travel comfortably in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to your day’s destinations.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Sintra is a charming town with a mystical and fairytale landscape where one of Portugal’s oldest palaces is found. Set in the town center, Sintra National Palace has Moorish origins and is easily recognized for its two white conical chimneys. It’s the only one of all the royal palaces to have survived virtually intact to today.

After a scenic coastal drive, you’ll arrive at lovely Cascais. After King Luís I, chose it as a summer retreat in 1870, it became a famous seaside resort. The royal residence was located within the old town citadel which had been an important defense of Lisbon for its proximity to the capital.
